The King River Gold is a great introduction to the washed rind style. The cheese itself has a soft interior with a slightly gritty rind and a rich, almost smoky, nutty flavour. Will get stronger, runnier & "smellier" as it matures.

These Australian grown muscatels are gently dried on the vine which caramelises their natural fruit sugars. They're a delicious contrast to blue cheeses as well as smooth, sharp cheddars. Some of them might have come off the stems during transport.
