This biodynamic organic soft tofu comes into its own with a good quality soy or tamari sauce. Slice it, bake it, fry it, steam it then add to dishes or hotpots when cooking or stirfries when serving. Whatever you do, be nice – it needs to be treated gently.

The Difference Between Silken and Regular Tofu Silken tofu also called soft, silk, or Japanese-style tofu has a softer consistency than regular tofu and will fall apart if not handled carefully.

Should soft tofu be cooked?
Soft and silken tofu are ready to go right out of the package (though, technically, any tofu can be eaten raw). Drain off the excess water, and eat up!

Is soft tofu healthier than firm tofu?
You can find tofu in firm, extra firm, medium, and soft textures. Tofu that is more firm has a higher calorie content and provides more nutrients because it contains less water. Softer tofu has higher water content and fewer calories, carbs, protein, and fat
