Australian grown organic Barhi dates can be eaten fresh in their yellow semi-ripe state or they can be left in the bag and consumed when dried (like a big delicious raisin). This less common variety has a rich caramel flavour and chewy texture.

Barhi dates can be stored at room temperature, away from direct sunlight, for 3-4 days. To keep Barhi dates longer, refrigerate them in an airtight container or zip-lock bag. In the fridge, Barhi dates can last 2-3 weeks.
