Is Best of the Bone a dehydrated powder?
Nope. Best of the Bone is a fresh bone broth concentrate, not a powder. Its thick, gel-like texture comes from the high levels of collagen and naturally occurring gelatin.
How is Best of the Bone different to the broth I make at home?
You might simmer your bones for a couple of hours — but we don’t rush good broth. We use only grass-fed & finished beef leg bones (rich in bone marrow), and our slow-simmered process is designed to draw out maximum nutrients and flavour. While we can’t reveal our exact simmer time (it’s one of our best-kept secrets), we can promise it’s long enough to unlock everything you want from whole bones, and nothing you don’t.
How should I store it?
After opening, keep your broth in the fridge. It’ll stay fresh and ready for your next cup or recipe.
Why does it turn creamy white when I add hot water?
That’s the good stuff. The rich bone marrow is full of healthy fats, which give our broth its creamy texture and buttery, delicious flavour when mixed with hot water.
