A handmade Victorian pure beeswax unscented candle that closes the loop. Warbotanicals skincare empty glass jars are collected & cleaned at Fair Food, then filled by Bee Sustained with 90g of beeswax per jar. Burn time approx 20 hrs with the subtle natural beeswax honey scent. A beautiful sustainable gift idea for a friend or yourself.

Candle burning tip: To get the longest burn time out of your candle ensure you allow the entire surface to melt before blowing out the flame, this way you avoid the candle burning in a narrow shape without utilising all its beeswax. Trim the tip of the wick after each burn or if it gets too long.

About these collaborative candles: For years our Fair Food community have been washing and returning their Warbotanicals skincare jars. We send some to CERES to be used in workshops, but ultimately the stockpile grew... until our grocery buyer Shell came up with a fabulous idea. Why don't we give the jars to our local apiarists Bee Sustained to fill with Victorian beeswax? Saving jars from the recycling bin and bringing the beautiful aromas of local honey into the homes of our community - perfect!

Are 100% beeswax candles better?
100% beeswax candles are safe, environmentally friendly, and nontoxic. They are biodegradable and don't undergo any chemical processing. They burn very clean with little smoke since they aren't oil-based like paraffin candles. Bees play an impactful role in the restoration of our ecosystem.
