The name Little Feet Farm reflects our intention and commitment to tread lightly in our lives and farming methods.
The farm began to become a reality in spring 2005, and grew out of a empty 5 acre paddock in the forested hills above Gladysdale in the Yarra Valley. Inspired by Permaculture design and many philosophies of natural food growing, we are carefully crafting a highly productive, diverse, sustainable, poison and chemical free, locally focused food production paradise. But we still have many years of hard work ahead before we reach full harvest.
Our learning curve on this adventure has been steep and a times difficult, but we are committed to continuing to learn to become skilled ecologically sustainable farmers and advocates for local food production.
