Avocados are a wonderful fruit containing a range of vital nutrients needed for a healthy body. Just like other fruits avocados are high in water (75%) but remain nutrient dense. They are rich in fibre and healthy fats while naturally low in sugar and sodium.
Avocados also contain a high amount of the carotenoid called Lutein, antioxidants, vitamin C, vitamin E and oleic acid.
Avo's can be used to create home-made facial masks and are great for the skin.
